Free mixed media workshops for young people living in Penrith area with local digital media artist Eddie Abd – illustrator, painter and digital storyteller, and Iraqi-Canadian artist-in-residence Sundus Abdul Hadi – painter, visual and multimedia artist.

The workshops include painting, graphic art and photography. The workshops have been facilitated at St Marys Corner in April 2011 and have provided great opportunity to local young people to work with multimedia teachers, to work on the creative project and to network.  

Managed by Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) and made possible with funding from the NSW Government through Artstart – TAFE NSW and Communities NSW – Better Futures Strategy. Supported by Penrith City Council. ICE receives core funding from Arts NSW, Australia Council for the Arts and Screen NSW. This project utilises the facilities of Switch Digital Arts Centre, a partnership with Parramatta City Council.
